This Privacy Policy describes how IT Pro Partner LLC ("TransitPin," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the TransitPin website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
GPS location data collected through the TransitPin mobile application is used exclusively for real-time route tracking and ETA calculation during active transportation periods. We do not track driver or student location outside of active route windows.
Specifically:
Phone numbers submitted through the Service are used solely for the purpose of delivering transportation notifications and SMS broadcasts you initiate. We comply with the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, The Campaign Registry (TCR) standards, and applicable carrier requirements for 10-Digit Long Code (10DLC) messaging.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Route and ridership data is retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period after termination for compliance and analytics purposes. Location data, phone numbers, and message content are retained for a period consistent with the delivery of the Service and then securely deleted.

The Service is designed for use by schools, transportation contractors, and parents/guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 years of age. Student information is provided by authorized school or fleet administrators. If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will delete it promptly.
The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our central database is operated.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TransitPin website, mobile applications, API, SMS messaging, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by IT Pro Partner LLC ("TransitPin," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
TransitPin offers two service tiers:
Fees are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in your service agreement. We reserve the right to change our fees upon 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the Service after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy constitute a material breach of these Terms.
You retain all rights to the data you upload or input into the Service ("Customer Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use Customer Data as necessary to provide the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and consents to provide Customer Data to us.
The Service collects real-time GPS location data from driver mobile devices during active routes. You are responsible for obtaining driver consent for location tracking and for complying with all applicable laws regarding location data collection. TransitPin uses location data exclusively for route tracking, ETA calculation, and service analytics.
You are responsible for ensuring that student information shared through the Service complies with applicable student privacy laws, including FERPA where applicable. You are responsible for managing parent portal access and for the accuracy of parent contact information.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of IT Pro Partner LLC. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including cloud hosting services, mapping/GPS services, SMS delivery services, and payment processing (Stripe). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of the Service may be subject to additional terms from these providers.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
GPS location data accuracy depends on device hardware, network conditions, and environmental factors. We do not guarantee that ETA calculations or location data will be 100% accurate at all times.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IT PRO PARTNER LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IT Pro Partner LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) your submission of phone numbers or student data without proper consent.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Chatham County, Georgia. You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
